Here, at the Nekro Noir Cafe, we are a SFW Casual RP Venue. Our cafe is designed to give players - new, old, and returning - a chance to try out an RP venue just to see if they enjoy the roleplay aspect of FFXIV. We humbly ask our guests to please keep any suggestive/indecent scenarios in whispers.We are not opposed to fun, flirty banter or a quick kiss on the cheek! Any guest will receive a polite verbal warning if they start a NSFW scenario. In the event they continue after our warning, we will remove them from the premises.If roleplaying is not your style or you wish to take a break, our lobby area is AFK friendly.

We also welcome any free trial adventurers who wish to try rp venues. We have free trial friendly menu items that helps include them. We hope you can stop by and stay awhile! We are also a board game cafe! The upstairs area is for those who wish to "play" any board games/cards games we offer. If you wish to eat at the cafe, please move downstairs to the cafe.

Jeffrey has been part of the Nekro Noir Cafe for as long as Yidua can remember. With each renovation, Jeffrey is first priority. Wherever Jeffrey decides he fits, that is where he sits. At the moment, he resides over the Nekro Noir stage making sure each guest is enjoying their time at the cafe.

Azalea Greystone

Hailing from Maduin, Azalea travels to Marilith to help out in the Nekro Noir Cafe. You can find them serving guests most of the time. However, if you ever catch Azalea performing on stage, consider yourself blessed by the Twelve.

Popo Crow

You've probably seen Popo around the city states shouting! A kind and beautiful soul who traveled from another star and settled down in Marilith to work at the cafe! When not shouting, you can usually find her at the bar having a drink. If she's not at the bar and she's not shouting, she's most likely with her partner enjoying her day off!

Frenzy Mc

Frenzy is the twin brother of Rumble Mc. If you see a Lalafell running around the kitchen (maybe setting something on fire), that's him! When he's not busy plating up food, you can find him at the window looking out to the guests. Don't be afraid to approach him! Do NOT insult his brother.

Rumble Mc

Rumble is the twin brother of Frenzy Mc. If you see a Lalafell wandering in and out of the kitchen with purple hair, that's him! On occasion, you find him upstairs handling the drinks! I encourage you to chat him up. He has some very interesting things to say! Do NOT insult his brother.

Blossom Greencaller

If you ever find yourself buying honey muffins on the marketboard, that would be Blossom's doing! She has a muffin problem. The last time we checked, she was at 2,769 honey muffins. In her spare time, she's off making deals with namazus. Don't ask - the namazus are always watching.Post Addendum: She has over 10,000 honey muffins at this point in time. (November 4, 2025)

A bored adventurer whose been everywhere and done everything so decided to get a job as a bartender! Meet Deathstar. Hailing from Kraken, he stumbled upon an advertisement for the Nekro Noir Cafe and decided that working at a cafe is better than doing nothing!

Quite the enthusiastic mischief maker of a dragonkin who appears sweeter than she lets on. Originating from sea sunken legends long lost to the history books. She's the kind to talk like she’s seen far more of the world than she should have. Ask about her past and she'll make it feel like the question never happened. All with a cheeky grin and usually dragging you into whatever musings she's got brewing in her head. Is she an ancient beast of the tides? Maybe, but she certainly isn’t telling.At some point she took a step out of her comfort zone and began living among the vast races of Eorzea. Along the way finding herself in places where the lights shined brightest and the nights never ended until the last song called. Now she lives as a creature reborn into the beating waves of nightlife. An entertainer and caretaker in every sense of the words. Bringing music, laughter, and good vibes wherever she goes. Her newly found ambitions being driven by a simple goal:

After journeying to worlds unknown and taking a break from the cafe, Xandria is back to say hello!Reclaiming her role as a server, she has also picked up a new position at the cafe: Queen of the Cards. When the cafe is busy, Xandria handles the upstairs area for game nights where she oversees board games, card games, and tabletop campaigns! If you want a board game to play but don't know which, she's got you covered!

L'nuk Neppa

A laid back Viera willing to shout to the high heavens in the main city states or handling the hustle and bustle of cafe rush hour.If you see L'nuk shouting, say hello! At the cafe, engage in some small chat with him. The cafe is here for both our guests and staff member to relax and have fun. He's doing a great job and he deserves to know that!

Layfon Cat hails from Faerie and will show up out of the blue just to play some wonderful tunes for the cafe! She's quick to show off her skills and her bubbly attitude elevates the positive energy in the room.She is also the reason we have our signature dish called The Cat Stack! If you're a fan of pancakes and catnip, you should try it some time!

~ MAIN COURSES ~

These catnip-infused fluffy pancakes were made specifically for Layfon Cat - a longtime friend and amazing bard! However, we decided that we wanted our guests to also try these pancakes as well! Made with Dalamud popotoes, sunset wheat flour, nutmeg, table salt, and apkallu eggs - this dish is perfect for those looking for a light but also hearty meal! Mirror apple butter goes well with these pancakes!

The Valiant

A delicious chicken pasta dish made of vermicelli noodles with chicken cooked in Frantoio oil. A sweet cream mixed with parsley is poured on top to give the dish some contrast. For the aftertaste, a hint of fresh peppermint is added.This dish is named after Eddie Valiant, a noir detective who just wanted to drink and make money to pay the bills. When a certain rabbit named Roger is framed for murder, Eddie can only hang on for dear life as he is forced to fight for both his life and Roger's life.

If you rather have a small snack over a main course meal, you should try our Noir tea set.Imported from Hingashi, we use high quality green tea leaves, grounded into fine powder. We sift the powder first into a tea bowl before slowly pouring near boiling water over it. With a special made whisk, we whisk the tea together with the water, giving you matcha tea.Along with our matcha tea, we serve homemade senbei rice crackers that pairs perfectly with our matcha tea. This dish pays homage to our first bartender who hailed from the Far East, Chiaki Tachibana.

Corvidae Tea

Corvidae: The Latin term for a species of birds labeled as crows. This beverage is to honor our wonderful shouter, Popo Crow!Our wonderful cafe crow has been a shouter ever since we moved from a small estate to a medium estate. Without Popo's shouting and upbeat personality, the cafe would be missing a key feature that we wouldn't know how to replace.So, join us in celebrating Popo with this wonderful cup of tea! This tea is made using crescent spring water as a base, pulling out the best traits of jhammel ginger, cinnamon, and dried persimmons. For sweetness, we added beet sugar.

Mocha Bubba

So far, most of our menu items have some noir inspiration behind it or has been an item dedicated to a staff member of the cafe. However, this beverage is different.Mocha Bubba pays respect to Nekro Noir's very first affiliate: Fat Rabbit Cafe. Fat Rabbit Cafe was almost the exact opposite of the Nekro Noir Cafe! It was bright, colorful, but most importantly......the cafe was home to a wonderful staff and owner. One of the beverages they had to offer at the cafe was the Strawbunny Boba. This drink was served in a cup with a lid shaped like bunny ears.The Mocha Bubba has its own set of bunny ears! Our boba tea uses espresso coffee as a base, mixing a semi-sweet mocha chocolate syrup, creamy oat milk, and tapioca pearls. As a special treat, our ice cubes are made of espresso coffee! To finish this beverage off, we add a nice dollop of whipped cream on top and it's shaped like bunny ears! As for the name, we figured Bubba would be the best name for a fat rabbit!With all that said.....to the wonderful staff and owner of the Fat Rabbit Cafe. We miss you very much. If this drink does not express our deep appreciation for you, we're not sure what will!

A dark roast coffee with heavy sweet cream, maple sugar and shaved cinnamon - this beverage carries a bite. If you plan to drink this, we suggest carrying three coins in your pocket: One for luck and two for safe passage while crossing the River Styx.

Casablanca Coffee

Another dark roast coffee with sticks of cinnamon and garden beet sugar. To balance the bitter notes of this coffee, a dollop of sour cream is added on top. While delicious, try not to stare into the coffee for too long. One might start to believe that they're part of a greater scheme, working behind enemy lines to save the person you love even if they are in love with somebody else. And if they dare try to stay as you force them on a airship to safety, they would certainly regret it."Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."

The Alibi

Wine made of fermented lingonberries, garden beet sugar and birch syrup give the wine its trademarked sweetness. Lemonette and Galago mint is used as a contrast. Best served in a wine glass as you talk in a hushed tone with your guest using nothing but the light from a moonlight window to obscure your face. With conversation running dry, you escort them to the front before shutting the door behind them.Unbeknownst to your guest, they have given you the perfect alibi to get away with murder.

This cocktail was made in the honor of a strange duskwight Elezen claiming to be from a distant planet called Cybertron. He also claims that he is king of Cybertron and leader of a powerful army called the.....Decepticons? Whatever the case, this stranger has left a lasting impression on the cafe. This cocktail is made with pixieberries, garden beet sugar, peppermint, underground spring water, and Coerthan tea leaves.

The liqueur we add to the drink was graciously given to us by this stranger, just in case he ever has a rough week. (We checked the liqueur for poison. It's safe.....it just glows in a bright pink color.

~ DESSERTS~

A cafe is not complete without its homemade tiramisu dessert! Using ladyfingers as the base, we dip it in espresso coffee before placing it on the bottom of our baking dish. We mix mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to make the filling for our tiramisu.Now, here's the twist. Normally, you add regular cocoa powder to the top of tiramisu to complete the dessert. For our tiramisu, we added a mixture of cocoa powder and edible blue glitter made from bioluminescent plants found in Mamook. For garnish, we add a handful of edible pearls on top. Why do this, you ask?This dessert is to pay respect to Neo Symphonia, now known as Neo Sinclair! Our front desk host is a treasured member of the Nekro Noir Cafe. She hails from a Xaela tribe that lives in isolation at the bottom of the sea. The edible blue glitter symbolizes the deep blue oceans of her home with the edible pearls acting as the deep sea treasures of the Far East.Her upbeat personality brings life to the lobby and it is painfully quiet when she's not around. Please say hello to Neo when you see her! She's a beautiful soul who deserves nothing but kindness and appreciation.

The Private Eye

Perhaps, a coffee cake is not your ideal dessert at a cafe. We understand. We offer you The Private Eye.The Private Eye is a stylish gelato dish with a noir-inspired theme. Served in a cosmopolitan glass, we add ice cold gelato with hot espresso coffee poured on top. It's the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness.Now, tell us detective. Did you find a lead on the case you're working on?

A sweet tart of blood currants boiled in gelatin, natron, and maple sugar. The tart is baked in pie dough that's coated in smooth butter.The crimson color of the blood currants is similar to the red lipstick of that mysterious dame you encountered. Who she was, you're not sure. What you do know is that she stole your heart the moment you laid your eyes on her. The next morning, she was gone. With your heart in her possession, it's up to you to follow her tracks and gather the evidence of her crime.

Do you ever feel like you live in a country full of Neanderthals? Then this ‘Badge of Honor’ is JUST for you!This delicious shaved ice dessert is perfect for the summer heat! Using rolanberry syrup, we can apply a beautiful rainbow of colors to your dessert! Although, it won't help your case of you being mentally imbalanced. WHO THE F--- SAID THAT?!
